Toddlers who have poor motor skills may be bad in math, research reveals
International Business Times (Australian Edition) (10.09.2015): Two-year-old children manifesting poor motor function also have poor mathematical skills, a study suggests. Researchers at the University of Stavanger’s Norwegian Reading Centre say having this knowledge will make it easier for teachers to identify children who may need extra help in math.
The Stavanger Project - The Learning Child is a multi-discipline, longitudinal study conducted by the University of Stavanger in collaboration with the City of Stavanger. The project seeks to gain new knowledge on the development of children aged 2 1/2 to 10 years of age. For more information in English, please visit our English project website.
